Tom Wilson, owner of WHB, has been building custom homes since 1991. He has built in such
neighborhoods as, Bartram Trail, Jones Creek, The Plantation at Jones Creek, Knob Hill, and
Nicoles Cove. Tom knows a builder is only as good as his subcontractors and he takes pride in
using only the finest subs available.
Tom works with the homeowners and subs in a friendly and professional manner. He is on each job
site daily working closely with the subcontractors and paying attention to the detail required to build a

Recently there has been a new member to WHB. Jessica Wilson has joined forces with her father.

A native of Lincoln County, Georgia, Jake has been building homes in the Augusta area since 1984. He continues to build in a variety of neighborhoods and price ranges. As an active member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta, he has been named Builder of the Year three times. Jake consistently looks for better plans, the latest products and the most recent building trends in order to meet demands for today’s lifestyles and tomorrow’s environmental concerns. Most recently, he was named Small Business Owner of 2003 by the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. Jake and his wife Wanda have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.

Brian Hall graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Civil Engineering Technology in 1999 and with 8 plus years of construction experience founded Oakdale Custom Homes, Inc. In that time Brian has built over 100 homes for customers in the Aiken/Augusta area.
A member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta as well as the National Association of Home Builders, Brian holds Residential Superintendent and Certified Graduate Builder designations. Brian believes in continuing education to ensure the latest building technologies are used in his homes. Brian is currently pursuing his Graduate Master Builder designation through the NAHB. All Buyers of Oakdale homes will receive a short survey from this third party organization that tracks customer satisfaction.
